Success as First MPs’ Jobs Fair in Thanet Attracted Over 3000 residents
On Tuesday 26th June, The Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, Minister for Employment spoke at Thanet’s first MPs’ jobs and apprenticeships fair. For one day, The Winter Gardens was transformed into Jobs ‘R’ Us with hundreds of jobs on offer - all under one roof!
Over 3000 people passed through our doors and the feedback has been extremely positive. We've heard great stories of employers inviting people to interviews, recruiting or taking on apprentices as a result of the Jobs Fair. There are real opportunities available in Thanet, for both companies and jobseekers, so often it's just a case of matching up the right person to the right job.
